Night Ropes Course

I stand petrified in the pitch black night, with the ice cold rope in my freezing hand.
I hear the voice of Cooper encouraging me on.
The world seems motionless as I cautiously move one foot at a time waiting for a parent to jump out and startle me.
I hear the screams of the other terrified kids, and I hope that I’m not next to be startled.
Then I hear a spooky voice that give me the shivers and start to think that’s a bit scary, otherwise not scary at all.
I slowly move on to see a parent in black being silly by rolling on the ground.
I yell, “You can’t scare a Bushett like that. It takes a lot more than a little fright to spook me.”
The day had long since faded and the night terrifies me.
I see nothing but black all around me like a pitch black room
Nervously I move on to witness what will be another alarming fright.
The rope slowly feels like it will vanish in my hands.
I have to go on I say to myself, even though it am awfully afraid.
One by one, the parents try to scare me but I laugh at them all, mainly the guy covered in grass but it was only a costume.
As I walk out of the course with a smile on my face, I start to think it was so worth it.
The course was terrifyingly magnificent. I loved it so much I want to do it again some day.

Lake Kiriopukae

I glimpse around the beautiful breath-taking lake and view,
the rocks reflecting off the shimmering water.
The long grass tickles my legs as I walk closer to the denim blue lake.
The dark sand flies take ferocious bites on my legs while I try to smack them away.
The white mist flies through the high sky.
I look into the light grey sky and look at the architecture of the snow white clouds.
The wind blasts at me and I get a arctic feeling up my back.
We stroll silently to Michael Noonan’s grave.
I touch it and get a cold tickle down my boney spine.
We stroll back to the amazing lake, I look upside down and the reflection looks like I’m looking normally, but I’m not.
The sun tries to escape the grey clouds.
The dripping rain strikes me and makes me chilly like an animal that lives in the freezing snow.
The muddy lake is flooded onto the fern grass.
I notice how silent it really is and say in my head, “There is no place better than this.”
If this place was near home more I would go everyday.

The 3 Little Dogs

Once upon a time in a pet store far far away there were three dogs that never got adopted. The eldest dog was called John, the second eldest dog was called Johnny and the youngest teeny weeny dog was called Puffington.

One day they ran away from the pet store and were never seen again by the pet store owners. One day they were walking along the countryside like they’d never walked before. “We need to make a house.” said John.“Yeah” the other dogs said in synth. So each dog gathered up some supplies and each built a house. Johns house was made out of timber, Johnny’s house was was made out of bricks and Puffington’s house was made out of super reinforced titanium.

After 5 days Puffington had built his house, however ,John and Johnny had already built their houses. One day John heard a knock at his door he started barking crazily and alerted the others that something bad was here. “Oh no!”said Puffington and Johnny. Suddenly Johnny burst through Puffington’s door. “Suit up.” Puffington said as he was putting on super hi tech armor with a super hi tech gun.

After the 2 dogs had suited up they ran to John’s house and there they found a terminator! Also John hiding behind a curtain. Pew! Pew! Pew! They shot at the terminator with all their might. All the guns did was knock him back. John sprinted out the door and went to Puffington’s house and suited up, of course he did go back to his brothers. The terminator ran at them but they ran up to the tippy top of a random volcano next to their houses and shoved with every bit of strength they had and the terminator fell in. The problem was that the volcano was dormant and the terminator was on a ledge. The 3 little dogs knew what to do… shoot the ledge, and so they did and the terminator was terminated and made the volcano extinct for some strange reason. Anyhow they lived happily ever after.

The Two Greedy Kids

Once upon a time not so long ago, in a small cottage in the woods. There lived two unbelievable greedy children, who lived with their parents. The girl’s name was Grapel, and the boy’s name was Hamsel. Hamsel and Grapel ate all the food in the house, and left none for their own parents. So, the parents were forced to kick Hamsel and Grapel out of the house till they made enough money to let them come back. It broke their parents hearts to see them leave but they had no choice “We are gonna starve!” cried Hamsel, as he started to cry.

“Lets keep moving into the forest to look for food, I have brought some of the small lego bricks for us to mark our way back,” replied Grapel. So the twins started to walk, lying down bricks on every step. Each second their tummies groaned louder and louder until, they decided to turn back and beg their parents to let them in. Although there parents said the same thing. So they had to come up with another plan. So they did. “Don’t worry, I stole little bits of Chippies to mark our way back.” They walked and walked and eventually the chips ran out, again they turned round to try their luck with their parent once more. But, to their disbelief when they turned round the chips were GONE!

Suddenly, a croaky voice was heard. “Oh, don’t you worry now children,” the person stopped and coughed up something that looked like her breakfast,“come and taste some of my candy house.” As the twins turned round there gaze locked on an old hunched over figure of a lady. Torn up kid clothes tied round her waist seemed like a warning sign, but as soon as they saw her house they forgot all about it and started gobbling up oodles and oodles of candy.

In about midway of chomping on the fence another mysterious figure appeared. He looked exactly like the old woman except for he had more clothes tied up upon the hip.
“Why don’t you take a bit of my pizza house? It much more yummier than that yucky candy.” The old womans reaction was furious. “They were mine FIRST! You always get the food!” Bickering and quarrelling sliced through the air. Though, the kids were just happy that now they could eat two of the mysterious -but yummy- houses! Another voice joined the yelling, “Come try MY house young ones! It has fruity goodness!” and another house appeared.

Hamsal and Grapel, felt so full that they felt they would never eat again.
However, they did not get to eat the fruit house. It was just too much food for their poor old tums. The fighting was still in-play. They had been so nice to us. Letting us freely eat their houses, Hamsel and Grapel thought. Suddenly a thought flashed through there minds like lightning. There was an rusted red toy trailer half in the bushes, maybe, just maybe, they could wheel some of the house to their parents. So they did.

Maybe they weren’t so greedy after all.
