We have been continuing to practice for our upcoming production. Our dance to Funky Town is coming along well.
Week 2 Science in a Van
Today Allan and Emily came to show us some amazing science experiments. Unfortunately they ran out of liquid Nitrogen and so will come back on Friday to do the show for us. We loved seeing some of Allan’s magic tricks and spinning wheel.

Week 10 Antarctic Quiz
Today we had our Antarctic quiz. All of Team 2 got together in the hall. We were divided into 12 teams with 9 people in each team. Each team had a computer. The questions came up on the computer and we had a range of multi choice answers to choose from. Each person had a turn to answer four questions.
Week 9 Sir Ernest Shackleton
We have been looking a Captain Robert Falcon Scott and his tragic journey to the South Pole. We have also briefly looked at Roald Amundsen and know that he was the person to reach the South Pole. We now want to learn about Shackleton. Many people describe him as a great leader, I wonder why? Try and find out why. Check out the link to the Shackleton Quiz and give it a go.

This week we have been comparing and contrasting Antarctica and New Zealand using a Double Bubble map.
